Welcome to our 2007 Festival
Our Festival programme is packed with events of all kinds, but for changes, additions and more information please do watch the local press. Keep right up to date with our Festival website www.wymfestival.org.uk
Not all the events are arranged by the Festival committee. For other events a contact number is included.
Will you enjoy it?
We think so! At the bottom of each page you can read what people thought of Festival events last year. With so much variety we’ll be surprised if you don’t find plenty to enjoy in 2006. For a ‘taster’ buy our 2005 Festival DVD for £5. And this year all our venues, except pubs, will be non-smoking.
What do you think of it?
We need to know what you think about the Festival to make sure we keep providing what you want. Please fill in a form when you are offered one - even your postcode helps tell us how successful our marketing has been.
Admission to events
Many events are FREE - just come and enjoy the music! At some there is an admission charge on the door or a retiring collection. For more formal concerts tickets may be booked in advance.
Where to get tickets
The main sales point for Festival events is Halcyon Days in Wharton’s Court, off Market Street, Wymondham 01953 600770. Payment may be made by cash or cheque. Some music societies do use other outlets - look for details under each concert entry. Some tickets are available from Prelude Records, 25b St Giles, Norwich 01603 628319. They accept payment by credit card and tickets can be collected at the door on the night of the concert.
Saturday mornings in Wymondham
Wymondham is a very special market town with so much going on for all the family. On Saturday mornings throughout the summer you will always find something happening in the Market Place. Every third Saturday in the month there’s a Farmers’ Market, and on other Saturdays through May, June and July we offer musical entertainment of all kinds. Come and meet us there, and find out more!

General information
Most of the events in Wymondham Music Festival 2006 would not happen without generous support from many quarters.
Our three councils - county, district and town - have given grants. Charities, businesses and local people have supported events and paid for advertising. Many of you have given your personal support as patrons.
Musicians from the Wymondham area and far beyond bring events alive for us all. Those who come to listen or take part make (all) our hard work worthwhile. So to everyone who is contributing in any way to Wymondham Music Festival - thank you!
Would you like to become a patron?
In June there’s a special ‘thank-you’ event for our patrons and supporters. Their contribution is absolutely vital if the Festival is to continue to thrive. To find out more about becoming a patron please ring Hugh Morgan on 01953 603462.
Five ways to support the Festival
• become a patron by making a modest contribution to our funds
• support an event by funding part or all the cost
• advertise in the Festival programme
• publicise the Festival by displaying posters
• spread the word by telling your friends about the Festival
You may also like to buy a copy of our 2005 Festival DVD - a good ‘taste’ of the Festival for only £5.
